Human growth hormone or HGH, the scientific name is somatotropin and is generally a pituitary released hormone, which is responsible for normal development and growth of children into adult. The potentiality of growth of the child remains unfulfilled if proper levels of hormones are not produced. Even adult also produce Growth Hormones, which continues to act as a significant regulatory role all through the lives.
Generally, Growth Hormone is secreted from pituitary gland; its origin is in the hypothalamus of the brain. This gland is regarded as the controlling gland, which secretes the hormones into our blood that controls the actions of several other glands inside our body. Therefore, this pituitary gland is termed “master gland”.
